trugs digital editions arriving!
Welcome to "trugs" - Teach Reading Using GameS.
trugs® is a phonics based reading resource for school and home. We are delighted to be rolling out our new digital editions. The 3 main games, including in total over 2000 individual English word now released as individual apps on the Apple App Store.
Currently free to download, more to come.
The trugs Digital Editions bring the card games to iPad and iPhone as three separate apps - Match It, Take It and Get It - each one available on its own. All three draw on the same decks of decodable words and on the trugs reading stages 1-15, carrying a reader from single sounds through to multi-syllable words one small, achievable step at a time. Every word carries optional human audio, so a child can hear it sounded correctly whenever they need to, or turn it off once they no longer do. Play against Trug the robot for a game that is always ready, or hand the device back and forth in two-player mode and read against a tutor, a parent or a friend.
